the power of intention, commitment and patience

i took our VTF jar to the coin counting machine
 at our local bank today.

$57.00 in paper bills+$155.47 in coins=$212.47
to be deposited later this week in our savings account in a bank in vermont.
this is how our "bit of earth" got started years and years ago.
and how we are saving for a tractor now.

always bend over and pick up those coins,
check the cushions in the sofa,
stash the occasional birthday check,
return those bottles for the deposit money...

IT ALL ADDS UP TO MAGICAL POSSIBILITIES.

  3. I've been thinking about doing that for a "fancy gas stove" fund. I should start right now.

  6. Indeed, every penny counts! You’ve collected a considerably large sum! Can you imagine if you just ignored all those loose change? You could be wasting hundreds of dollars, which can definitely be useful for helping with expenses. I also do this. In fact, I’m also teaching my kids to save and have their own piggy bank. It’s important that they learn the importance of money and how to manage it at a young age. ->Harriett Faulks
