denim bag with vintage buttons

yesterday's embroidered stems turned into a bag.
lined and pocketed, with a hair "scunci" for closure.
new and vintage buttons and an old pair of jeans.

now, what's for lunch?

  1. Lovely! And in great contrast to the new 5" outside. For lunch, over here, homemade pasta (fazzoletti) a la Mark Bittman.

  9. Vintage buttons are a favorite of mine and I love the little flower garden you created with them. The color orange is becoming another favorite.... good choice on the lining!

    1. Raina,
Thanks for stopping by. I made this bag from scratch, with no pattern. If you are a clever sewist I'll bet you could devise a very similar one. :-)
